Go for It
This edger provides a distinctive defined edge. I quickly found out I needed an edger to help keep the grass trimmed at the edges of my landscaping blocks. I did not need a big heavy gas motor edger at 2-3 times the price for small amount of edging every few months. I, however, have extremely rocky soil and it is difficult to get through when edging around my flower beds. Additionally, it made the job go much quicker than expected. I hit a few landscaping blocks and it caused no issues! I started looking at gasoline powered edgers, however they were ridiculously expensive. It is a good option to consider when purchasing your new edger. If you’re working on cleaning out flower beds and need to cut new borders, this really is what you need. Overall a good product and a good warranty. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to do continued edging, but if you are heavily overgrown, use a spade first.
Used Bd Electric Edgers for 20 Years
A breeze to clean. Before buying this edger, I didn’t edge around my cheap inground pool for five years. Setup is easy, and getting a replacement blade is really a snap. Never had a moments difficulty. So many great things already been said about this item so I do not think I still have to elaborate on how great this thing is. I’m astonished how well this little device can cut through the toughest overgrowth (6″) on my driveway. Get over that small learning curve and you are home free with the edger that works, is not noisy or troublesome, and lets you keep the wallet a bit fatter. This unit is that powerful. I suggest this item. I had been used to a gas-powered edger, but needed to stop pulling to crank because of heart issues. It is a tough well-built unit. Assembling this out of the box is really a two minute job.
